Here/Now

A one-time installation at Dagshög,
on the shore of Kattegat

Dag’s bronze age burial mound and a warrior lookout. In our time a connection with our ancestors speeding past T Coronoae Borealis, 3000 lightyears away, on their way to eternity. The documented installation was an effort to map the site in space and time.

Time is the difference between before and after. The future is not yet, while the past is no longer. Time is “Now”. Will there always be a “Now”?

Space is the difference between here and there. Space is what always is. “Here” will always be. But if there is no “Now”, “always” has no meaning and “Here” will not be. The landscape containing the past and looking forward for the future will vanish. Our map for navigating the existence will be lost forever.
